Grand Finale Bullfight is February 10

The Final World Class Bullfight at Fred and Lisa Renk’s Santa Maria in La Gloria, Texas, will be held Sunday, February 10.

Longino Mendoza returns after his huge triumph at the Winter Texan opener. He was awarded three symbolic ears, two for his first bull and one for the second animal.

Also returning will be Enrique Delgado, known as "The Cyclone of Monterrey. He brought the fans to a standing ovation after a series of 360 degree passes that brought his animal just inches from his body during the January 13 opener.

A story and photo of Delgado appeared on the front page of the Metro Section of the San Antonio Express after the bullfight occurred. A wire release occurred and the story went to many newspapers across the United States.

Renk states there is a friendly rivalry between the two matadors who will appear again in the Grand Finale on February 10. The show should be excellent as the two friends try to outdo one another.

Gates will open at 1 p.m. and the bullfight will start at 4 p.m.

The bulls come from the pure bred stock of San Mateo Bulls on the Famous ranch of Don Rafael Mendoza, who will again be presented in the finale.
