One of the most popular groups to be seen in the Valley consists of The Cowboy "Cactus Willie", aka Charles Casterline, The Hobo "Boxcar Bob", aka Robert Selby and The "Drifter", aka Wil Kelley. Casterline is the nephew of famed Blue Grass Legend, "Lester Flatt" who visited their rural So. Carolina home often and along with Casterlines Mother who did live radio commercials, peaked Casterlines interest in music and influenced his picking style.

Folks say Casterline sounds a lot like "Willie Nelson" when he sings. Selby has been singing since Jr. Hi and has sung a range of music from opera, male chorus, gospel and several country and folk bands. Kelley a devoted "Blue Grass" musician rounds out the group with his Bass and humorous songs.

Together they are one of the most popular singing trios in the Rio Grande Valley and have hosted a series of popular variety shows in both Brownsville and Weslaco as well as Minnesota.
