Due to the popularity of pickleball, changes have been made in the schedule.  On Thursday morning lessons for beginners will be given instead of ladies day.  The current schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone can play. Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Beginner’s lessons will be offered.

The Mission Parks and Recreation Department, located at 921 N. Bryan Road, will sponsor a pickle ball tournament on Friday, March 5 at 10 a.m.  Applications are available at the recreation center and in local RV parks.  There is a $5 fee for participation in the tournament to pay for awards and refreshments.  For information call Ronnie Walker at  (352) 598-3441.
