David Church appearing at Aladdin Villas

DavidChurchBack by popular demand, David Church will be appearing at Aladdin Villas in Mission on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. This will be his fifth and final appearance for the 2012 season in the Rio Grande Valley, and he will be performing with a full band, including a lead, bass, steel guitar, and fiddle, with David on the rhythm guitar.

“David Church is a rare entertainment entity, in that he not only is an outstanding songwriter and performing artist in his own right, but he is also known throughout America to do the best tribute to Hank Williams Sr. that anyone has ever seen,” said Bruce J. Maier, of www.dammgoodtunes.com.

Church has found success despite all odds. He is outside the box of what Nashville defines as “marketable material.” Being successful in any business takes hard work and perseverance, but in the music and entertainment business it takes even more. Amazingly, without a major hit on main-stream radio, or even a record label, Church has millions of fans all over the world. Church has been featured on RFD-TV’s popular “Midwest Country Show” for over seven years. His popularity throughout the U.S., Canada, and now Europe continues to soar as he makes regular appearances on the show and tours throughout the world.

Joe Jensen, producer of the Midwest Country Show says, “over the past seven years, David Church continues to be our most popular,  most requested artist.” A song written by Church, “I Don’t Live Lonely Anymore,” climbed to the top of the charts on www.reverbnation.com  at #20 in just two weeks and stayed at that position for over six weeks. Reverbnation is one of the fastest growing music websites in the world.

David will be performing some of the songs from his new album, “Falling.” The CD includes great classic country, some “Hank Williams,” and also includes “The Old Red, White, and Blue,” written by Church as a tribute to our nation’s military. That CD is scheduled for release in March of this year.

Appearing with Church, will be Terry Lisa Church,  David’s wife, who has won acclaim as a tribute singer honoring Patsy Cline and other outstanding female country artists. The David Church Show will begin at 7 p.m., with Rich Bellert reciting cowboy poetry as pre-show entertainment beginning at 6:45 p.m. Advance reserved seating tickets are now on sale for $12. There will be general seating tickets for $10 the night of the show, if available. Get tickets early as David Church Shows tend to sell out. For tickets call John at 956-424-9961. For additional information call Rich Bellert at 956-585-0412, or Terry Church at 1-740-974-9885.
