The Winter Texan Expo & Health Fair welcomes the Midwest Bellows ‘N Brass to its list of top entertainers for our Expo this year. The Winter Texan Expo and Health Fair will be at the new McAllen Convention Center Jan. 24 and 25, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Bellows ‘N Brass will be playing two sets, one on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

During jam sessions here in the Valley, these five accomplished and experienced musicians came together to create a unique up-and-coming dance band. Midwest Bellows ‘N Brass brings a fresh sound to the Valley. No other group combines the accordion and brass sounds that people have enjoyed and loved for years in the Midwest. What makes this group of musicians so unique is that there is an absence of sheet music. All of the arrangements are done from memory. The band plays all styles of music. While their ethnic repertoire makes them a natural for theme events such as Oktoberfest or Germanfest, their experience and instrument combination enable them to also perform outstanding Dixieland and Mardi Gras music. The group can change from polka to country to Dixieland as easily as flipping a switch. Audiences will enjoy listening and dancing to a wide variety of songs, including polkas, waltzes, circle Schottische, rhumbas, and more. Once you hear Midwest Bellows ‘N Brass you’ll agree, they are smile makers.
