The Ballet Folklórico University of Texas-Pan American begins Alegria 2012 on Jan. 27 under the artistic direction of Francisco Muñoz III.

The Ballet Folklórico University of Texas-Pan American will open its Alegria 2012 concert season on Jan. 27 with an exclusive premiere dinner and two-hour show. Tickets for the event are $75 per person.

The concert series will continue for the general public on Jan. 28-29 at 2 p.m., Feb. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 2 p.m. and Feb. 3, 10, and 17 at 7:30 p.m. All concerts will be held at the UTPA Fine Arts Auditorium in Edinburg.

Presale adult tickets will be available for $10 at the IBC Bank Walmart in-store branches Valleywide. Adult tickets will be available at the door one hour before each show for $12.
