Nov. 21 – Alfresco Weslaco will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Weslaco.

Nov. 23 – First United Methodist Church of Mission, 1101 Doherty, will hold a live action at 1 p.m. Come bid on a commercial knitting machine and other treasures. The building will open and food will be served starting at 11 a.m. so everyone can see the items to be auctioned. Open to the community.

Dec. 5 – Treasures of the Gulf Museum in Port Isabel will hold an opening reception for Artist Fern Kubalsky: Painting on Feathers from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Exhibit will remain through December.

Dec. 6 – McAllen’s First Friday Artwalk, Main Street Art District, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Free.

Dec. 7 – Mission will host its annual Welcome Home Winter Texan Party at Leo Pena Placita Park, at corner of W. 8th Street and Conway Ave. from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Expect great entertainment, free snacks and more.
