Jan. 30-Feb. 1 – The All Valley RV Show will be held on the showgrounds of the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission. For information call (956) 429-6434.

Jan. 30 – Winter Texan Music Fest, on SPI at Schlitterbahn Waterpark, 33261 State Park Road 100. Admission $15 in advance, $20 at door (includes lunch), 10 a.m. Event will feature 8 bands.

Jan 30-Feb. 2 – Harlingen Performing Arts Theater, 1209 Fair Park Blvd, presents, “The Sound of Music.” Call (956) 412-7529 for ticket information. Thurs.-Fri. 7:30 p.m., Sat-Sun. 2:30 p.m. Tickets $15.

Jan. 30-Mar. 14 – Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum, 2425 Boxwood, features traveling quilt show from National Quilt Museum in Paduca, Ky. Theme is Jacob’s Ladder. Museum is open Tues-Sat 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday noon to 4 p.m. Free. Donations accepted.

Jan. 31 – Mission Historical Museum, 200 E. Tom Landry, will feature “The Turning of the Quilts” as part of its annual quilt show at 2 p.m. Quilt show lasts until Feb. 8. Museum is open Tues. - Fri., 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free admission.

Jan. 31 – Internationally recognized artist Diana Montemayor will display her works, “Taller de Pintura,” at the Pharr Cultural and Theatre Arts Center, 911W. Newcombe Ave., Jan. 31 from 6 to 9 p.m.
