Feb. 13-16 – Rio Grande Valley Music Fest continues on the grounds of the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show in Mercedes.

Feb. 13 – Jammin’ on Jackson Street with Vance Greek & Friends at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Held at Railroad Crossing Model Railroad Club & Event Center, 101 W. Jackson, Harlingen.

Feb. 13 – Quinta Mazatlan, 600 Sunset Drive, McAllen, presents “Concert in the Park-Ancient Aztec Sounds” as part of nature series. Adults $3, seniors $2.

Feb. 14 – Pharr Community Theater and St. George’s Orthodox Church present a dinner theater, “A Valley Valentine’s Visit,” with the meal. Two shows: 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at church hall, 704 W. Sam Houston, Pharr. Tickets are $20 for single or two for $35. Purchase tickets at Pharr Cultural & Theater Arts Center, 119 W. Newcombe Ave., or call Bob at (956) 961-4452.

Feb. 14 – USS Lexington, on the bay in Corpus Christi will host its 21st annual Stage Door Canteen featuring the music and entertainment of the WWII era at 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 per couple of $35 for singles. Feb.14-15 – Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild will host 32nd annual Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the McAllen Convention Center. Admission is $5.

Feb. 15 – Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge will host a Winter Texan Appreciation Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission, refreshments and $2 tram rides. Call (956) 784-7500 for information. Trams run at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m. 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

Feb. 15 – UTPA will present Alegria Gira 2014 at the Brownsville TSC Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12-$14 for adults, $10 to $12 for seniors.

Feb. 15 – The 3rd Annual Valley Star Awards will be presented at Mission Bell Resort, 1711 E. Bus. 83 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Alamo Rose Resort (956) 783-2605, Mission Bell (605) 610-6114, VIP La Feria (319) 331-1589, and Winter Texan Times (956) 580-7800.

Feb. 14-16 – Camille Lightner Playhouse, 500 E. Ringgold Street, Brownsville, presents “The Producers.” Admission.

Feb. 16 – Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission will sponsor a Hippie Dance with James and Faye Marvell at 7 p.m.

Feb. 18 – Window to the Past Historical Society Speakers Series, sponsored by the San Benito Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. at the San Benito Community Building, 210 E. Heywood. “Railroad and Land Seekers” will be presented by Buddy Dorsett, local attorney. Free.

Feb. 20 – Harlingen Rotary Club annual Shrimpfest & Auction at Casa de Amistad, 1204 Fair Park Blvd. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. $20. Tickets available from Rotary members.
