Jan. 23 – Museums of Port Isabel, 317 Railroad Ave. presents “Telling Our Stories” at 6:30 p.m.

Jan. 23 – The Texas Citrus Fiesta Royal Coronation will be held at the Mission Neuhaus Center on the campus of Mission High School, 1820 Cleo Dawson Drive, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 to $10.

Jan. 24-25 – The 20th annual Winter Wildlife Expo will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Center featuring information on wildlife of the RGV, geocaching, digiscoping, native plants, the beach and Laguna Madre and more.

Jan 24-26 – McAllen International Car Fest will take place at McAllen Convention Center, Jan. 24-26.

Jan. 25 – Texas Citrus Fiesta Fun Fair will be held in downtown Mission at Leo Pena Placita Park from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be music, arts and crafts, food vendors and a Vaquero Cook-off.

Jan. 25 – Texas Citrus Fiesta Parade of Oranges will take place at 3 p.m. The parade starts at FM 495 (Griffin Parkway) and travels south on Conway to 4th street.

Jan. 25-26 – National Professional Bull Riders will be held at the RGV Livestock Show Arena in Mercedes. Action starts Sat. at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Gates open two hours before event.

Jan. 26 – Museum of South Texan History Curator of Collections Lisa Kay Adam will host “Legacy of the Land,” a guided tour at 2 p.m. For information call (956) 383-6911 Admission.

Jan. 26 – The Rio Grande Valley Concert Band will present a concert at Rio Valley Estates in Weslaco at 3 p.m.

Jan. 26 – UTPA will present “Pachanga” an award-winning play about South Texas ranchers going to war along the Mexican border. Showtime is 2 p.m. in the Jeffers Theatre in the Arts and Humanities building. Tickets are $8 and will be on sale one hour before the show.
