CityofMcAllenLogo tnDoes Not Affect Buildings with Essential Services:
McAllen International Airport, Metro McAllen, McAllen PD and Municipal Court still operational to public

Beginning today, Tuesday, March 24, 2020, while most City of McAllen buildings will be closed to walk-in traffic to protect the community, residents and staff, the lobbies of some buildings which provide essential services are still open and operational.

Please note that the McAllen International Airport is open. General public e-mail inquiries can be sent to airport24help@mcallen.net.

Additionally, Metro McAllen’s Downtown Transit Center will also continue to remain open to the public. For more information, please call 681-3510 for metro services; 681-3500 for the bus terminal; and 681-3525 for downtown services, or e-mail at metromcallen@mcallen.net.

Two other City of McAllen departments whose doors will remain open to the public will be the McAllen Police Department and the McAllen Municipal Court, both housed at the McAllen Public Safety building, whose lobby is open to only five persons at a time. Please contact the McAllen Municipal Court between 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. via email at mcallenmunicipalcourt@mcallen.net or at (956) 681-2900.

All other City of McAllen services will continue by phone, e-mail, other alternative options and by appointment, subject to approval.

Drive-through service for payment at McAllen City Hall will continue.
