Ken Morrison has been in some type of choir since he was a child, growing up in Crooked Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada. He moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 2009 and it didn't take him long to find something to keep his vocal chords loose and ready to go, joining the Senior Ambassadors chorale group.

He along with the other 37 Senior Ambassadors members will join Men of A-Chord, the Magic Valley Chorus and the RGV Band for “Music for All Ages” concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 2 at Center Church, located at 4801 N. Cage in Pharr.

“We have tried to increase our fun factor and haved a few 'cute songs,' a much more divers repertoire,” Morrison said. “But every group sings or plays songs that are germaine to them. There's a huge variety of songs and music.”

Each year a different group organizes the event, with this year being the Senior Ambassadors running the show. “We have singers from all over the United States and Canada who sing with us,” Morrison said. “I've been the group since 2010 and I've been in four of these. It's a good time with a lot of good music.”

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door and can be purchased through any member of the four groups or by calling (956) 377-5556 before March 1.
