20180329 Brownsville Vintage Day 2The annual Brownsville Vintage Day will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at the Historic Market Square in downtown Brownsville near 1150 Market Square St.

The event is a vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor event featuring vintage fashion, classic vintage cars, vintage motorcycles, 50s, 60s 70s and 80s music, original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, food vendors, and much more.

20180329 Brownsville Vintage Day 3There will be a vintage fashion show and Andy's Closet will be raffling 30 vintage attire items including dresses. There will also be a classic car show.

Brownsville Vintage Day is an admission-free family event set in a two-block area around the recently restored Historic Brownsville Market Square.

There will also be a special appearance by Tejano recording artist Veronique. Veronique Medrano is a Brownsville native, and 2013 graduate of the University of Texas Pan-American. In late 2013, she launched her debut full-studio debut album “Encantadora,” which earned

Veronique a nomination for Best New Female Artist at the 34th Annual Tejano Music Awards.

20180329 Brownsville Vintage Day 1She has opened up for the following artists: Daddy Yankee, El Dusty, Elida Reyna, Siggno, Shelly Lares, and Emilio Navaira. Veronique released her sophomore album “Mi Ano Dorado” in June 2016, and the hit single “La Pulga” has made social media news as the music video hits 400,000 views.
