The City of Harlingen is welcoming Winter Texans back to the Rio Grande Valley. On Monday, Jan. 21, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the city will host their annual Winter Texan Fiesta at Casa de Amistad, located at 1204 Fair Park Blvd, Harlingen.

Admission is free and the event will include over 50 business vendors, a happy hour, car show, live folkloric performances and mariachis. The first 2,000 attendees will receive a free limited edition Winter Texan Fiesta T-shirt.
“The city is ready to fiesta, so come early and have a good time,” says Janie Rea, marketing manager for Harlingen CVB.

For more information, contact the Harlingen Convention and Visitors Bureau at 956-622-5053.

Editor’s note: Not to be confused with another event by the same name, the Mission Chamber of Commerce, along with the City of Mission, Mission Historical Museum and Shary Municipal Golf Course will host Mission’s annual Mega Winter Texan Fiesta as a two-day event on Feb. 15 and 16. Watch for more details as the event approaches.
