The Artesano Market Days, featuring artesans from Mexico, as well as local vendors, will again be part of this year’s Winter Texan Fiesta in Mission. The market, hosted by Mission Historical Museum, will take place, Friday, Feb. 15 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mission Event Center, located at 200 N. Shary Road, Mission.

Guests will enjoy a wide array of local and Mexican artists and vendors from various states in Mexico. Unique products will highlight handcrafted textiles, artwork, jewelry, candies, shawls, clothing, wooden toys and specialty gifts.

Enjoy an array of food vendors cooking up delicious treats, including funnel cakes, kettle corn, ceviche, empanadas, tortas, tacos and more. Then on Saturday morning, beginning at 10 a.m., see what’s cooking in the food court area of the Artesano Market. Afterwards, walk on over to the Winter Texan Fiesta concert, presented Saturday by the Mission Chamber of Commerce.

Admission is free. For more information, contact Lisa Price at the Mission Historical Museum at 956-580-8646. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs for a comfortable seat at the outdoor concert which begins at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
