Flu shots for Veterans available The Harlingen Care Clinic will host a drive-thru flu shot clinic on Saturday, October 21, 8 a.m. to noon. To receive a flu shot, Veterans must be enrolled in VA health care and have their current VA ID card. Veterans should not get the flu vaccine if they feel unwell. Participants are asked to wear a mask while getting vaccinated and wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the upper arm. Native Garden Contest deadline Oct. 21 Join Quinta Mazatlan in celebrating Native Plant Month by participating in the Native Garden Contest. Anyone who has put effort into adding native plants to their space is welcome to submit an entry into a free contest.
