Ed Marten’s Senior Softball League Ed Marten’s Senior Softball League is taking some time off for the summer but will be starting back up in the fall. They are looking for seniors, 55 and over, both men and women players. They take all levels of play that will be divided into two leagues in January. Games take place at the City of McAllen West Side Park on S. Ware Rd., across from the McAllen Convention Center, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices start in fall, they hold a special banquet, and the big game of Canada versus USA at the end of the season.
