McAllen Community Concerts starts season next week McAllen Community Concert Association is featuring six great concerts this season. The first concert will be held on Thursday, November 20 with C Street Brass. C Street Brass is a brass quartet passionately committed to educating and inspiring the next generation of musicians. C Street Brass’s mission is to connect lovers of the arts from all walks of life around a highly energetic and engaging concert experience. Equally as comfortable with Baroque as they are Broadway, this brass ensemble features five of the most talented, classically trained musicians in the industry. Michael Bridge (accordion) and Kornel Wolak (clarinet) are a globe-trotting musical duo who create life-affirming concerts full of beauty, virtuosity and humor. The two share a passion of fusing genres and a love of classical, jazz and world music, and their new show “Scandalous Romantics” is a hilarious tabloid take on the stories behind the most celebrated music stars across genres – and their spectacular lapses in judgement. Featuring songs like “Jealousy Tango,” “I Will Always Love You,” Marriage of Figaro” and more, this show will entertain audiences everywhere. Pianomania – Rockin’ the 50’s with Jared Freiburg will be held on January 21, 2026. Piano Virtuoso Jared Freiburg has been performing 1950s era music since he was a teenager. With legends like Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and Ray Charles as his role models and sources of inspiration, Freiburg channeled his talents into a hugely successful career as a touring musician and has gone on to tour and perform in venues of all sizes around the world.
