GQ is a modern, elegant take on some of the most famous music ever written, fusing together multiple genres in a perfect symphony of sophistication, virtuosity, and humor. Comprised of cello/mandocello, electric guitar/ bass, percussion, piano and violin, with special appearances by female vocalist Erin Shields, their concerts offer audiences a new, often deeper, way of listening to music. Featuring a multitude of musical genres, their repertoire includes selections like “Adagio,” “New York ‘States’ of Mind,” “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Rhapsody Overload,” and much more. The Waddington Brothers will perform on March 9, 2026. The Waddington Brothers, a band of four brothers from rural North Dakota, perform what they live: music that is real with them, that takes listeners on a journey through the heart of the American West. Seth, Ethan, Jacob and Job skillfully blend cowboy and bluegrass music, creating a style that is timelessly classic and yet refreshingly new and unique. Their rich, stirring harmonies and instrumental versatility bring familiar favorites like “Old Home Town,” “Less Traveled Road,” and “Red River Valley” to life in a way that is entertaining and engaging for audiences of all ages. Since then, they have provided quality entertainment at affordable pricing. This is the foundation of the organization now, just as it was in 1954. During the past 70 years, the association has presented a variety of entertainment from the classics to opera, jazz to musical theatre. The McAllen Community Concert Association is a non-profit organization comprised of a 40-member board and an active membership that has filled the auditorium to sold-out status for many years. They look forward to bringing many more years of fine entertainment to audiences in the McAllen Performing Arts Center. (120 E. 5th St.). Weslaco was found in much the same way many other cities in the Valley was – It was a diamond in the rough for agriculture and landowners and investors saw the potential of the land.
