All ladies are welcome. Red Hats and purple on the shoulders are appreciated. Groups are invited to purchase seats and decorate a table. Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased before January 28. Doors will open for attendees at 10:45 a.m. The event will be held at the Fun N Sun Resort’s Banquet Hall at 1400 Zillock Rd., in San Benito. The event gives Red Hatters, and other ladies, the opportunity to gather and have fun – and to eat dessert first. As always, the tables will be beautifully decorated by themes chosen by members of the RGV Red Hat Queens Council. A catered cold lunch will be served. MHM presents quilt exhibit showcasing local quilters The Mission Historical Museum invites the public to experience the tradition of quilting at an upcoming quilt exhibit featuring works by talented local quilters. The exhibit will be on view from now through February 27, offering visitors a unique opportunity to appreciate quilting as both an art form and a cultural expression. The exhibit will be open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m., as well as every second Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a diverse collection of quilts that reflect the artistic talent of the local community. The exhibit is located in the Annex Building of the Mission Historical Museum at 200 E Tom Landry St in Mission.
