The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) presents Piñatabstract, a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Josué Rawmirez, running from February 14 through July 26. The exhibit offers a unique presentation of the piñata through craft, performance, and new media, transforming a beloved cultural icon into innovative works of art. Piñatabstract features sculptural installations, wearable art, recycled paper, video, and ceramic works, inviting visitors to experience the piñata as both a cultural icon and an artistic object.
