Tom Landry. FIESTA From pg. 1 RAMBLINGS From pg. 1 Our next big event that we will be at is the Winter Texan Fiesta. We always look forward to this event. It’s Mission’s way of saying ‘Thank You’ to the Winter Texans that visit the city or make the city their winter home. Mission is still the city that has the most WT parks in the Valley. That’s why we stay in Mission. That’s why the paper was founded in 1987 in Mission. My father-in-law saw the need for a special publication for the Winter Texans. Being involved in City stuff, the Lion’s Club, and other things in the city, he saw what the Winter Texans brought to the Mission area, and to the Valley. And this was created for you. We strive to make this your paper. Share your news. Share what matters to you. Please share your news and photos with us. You can send items to news@wintertexantimes.com. We LOVE to hear from you. ~ Rina
