The grand finale of the bloodless bullfighting season at the Santa Maria Bullring in La Gloria, Texas will be Sunday, Feb. 12 at 4 p.m. For those who have never seen a bullfight, this is the last time this season to see one.
Fans will be pleased to see the return of matador super star Cesar Castañeda. The surprise, however, is that female matador Lupita Lopez will also return to share the card. This will be the answer to the sold out crowd that attended the bullfights Jan. 22 at Santa Maria.
After that performance, Castañeda was awarded four symbolic ears and the crowd loved his dominating style.
Female matador Lopez, also known as the Mayan Princess, was also awarded four symbolic ears. She is the favorite of the Winter Texans and is one of only three women in the world who hold the title full matador.
