March 25-26 – The Harlingen Flower Show will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Harlingen Cultural Arts Center. The event will feature floral designs and artistic crafts using live plants and objects from nature, created by garden club members, being showcased. April 1 – The McAllen Monarch Festival will be held at Quinta Mazatlan from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults. Celebrate the event by wearing orange. There will be live music, dances, vendors, arts and crafts, special walks, a native plant sale, and food. Tickets are available at quintamazatlan.ticketleap.com.

April 2 – The McAllen Wind Ensemble will perform “Memories” at the McAllen Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the ticketmaster website or at the center. A season pass to all four of their concerts is $40. Ticket prices usually range from $7 to $17.
