The Rio Grande Valley Detachment of the Marine Corps League will be celebrating the 247th birthday of the United States Marine Corps by hosting their inaugural Marine Corps Birthday Ball on Saturday, November 12. The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Mission Event Center.

The detachment is inviting all Marines, Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsmen, FMF Chaplains, and FMF Religious Program (RP) Specialists to attend.

The night ball will feature dinner, dancing, and the traditional Marine Corps Birthday ceremony. Attire is formal or semi-formal.
