Angels of Love is a nonprofit organization which provides free services to victims of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking across Hidalgo County. Angels of Love was founded with the purpose of developing a full array of services for women, children, and families who are victims of family violence. It is their intention to fill the service gaps left by underfunded and understaffed governmental agencies.

Angels of Love helps victims through advocacy, outreach, victim and family support, empowerment classes, empowerHER initiative, youth programs, teen dating violence programs, parenting classes, financial literacy classes, legal advocacy, therapy, counseling, and referral services.

Angels of Love’s vision is to extend itself throughout the Rio Grande Valley by providing services, workshops, conferences, programs, counseling, emergency shelter, transition housing, and more.

Angels of Love is also collecting new or pre-loved handbags, totes or diaper bags, and new toiletries, make up, skin care, personal hygiene, feminine products, manicure sets, etc. to fill the handbags. They are collecting these items through October 31. The drop-off location is 1305 E. Nolana Ave., Ste, D, in McAllen. For more info call (956) 382-4263.
