The Lion’s Club is an active group with the motto “We Serve.” They are a part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help their local communities.
The Lions Club raises money for community projects such as feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled; helping in their cause to give sight by paying for vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, and raising awareness of eye disease; supporting local children and schools with scholarships, mentoring, and more.
The Lions help the community during disasters with immediate needs such as food, water and clothing. They also provide grants for humanitarian projects and have a Leo program for youth to give them an opportunity for personal development through volunteering.
