Dennis Grover Watercolor webUpper Valley Art League’s local member artists will showcase diverse works of watercolor at the Upper Valley Art League (UVAL) Gallery in Mission February 7 through 28. Opening reception for the event is Saturday, February 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at 921 E. 12th Street in Mission (next to Speer Memorial Library).

Light refreshments will be served. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Watercolor exhibits showcase the medium's versatility, from luminous landscapes by masters like Winslow Homer at the MFA to contemporary works exploring abstraction, landscapes, nature, portraits, wildlife, and everyday life, often highlighting American scenes and stories through diverse styles like transparent washes and gouache, celebrating the unique light and spontaneity of water-based paints.
