Port Isabel announces tree lighting, holiday parade

The City of Port Isabel will kick off the 2025 holiday season with their 17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Hometown Christmas Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 6. The community celebration will be held in the heart of coastal Port Isabel.
Mayor Cantu Jr. and the Port Isabel City Commissioners invite the community to attend and participate in a Port Isabel holiday tradition. Hometown Holiday Parade starts at 6 p.m. and the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree in Beulah Lee Park starts at 7 p.m. The tree lighting will feature performances, vendors, Santa Claus and a bigger and brighter Christmas tree.

McAllen Community Concert Association is featuring six great concerts this season. The first concert will be held on Thursday, November 20 with C Street Brass.
The McAllen Performing Arts Center is thrilled to announce the exciting 2025-2026 Broadway in the Rio Grande Valley. The season started in September with The Addams Family. There are four remaining shows for the season.
Harlingen Community Theatre (HCT) is where Valley stars shine. After celebrating 50 years of highlighting Valley talent last season, they will continue to showcase the talent the Valley has to offer with this season shows.
The McAllen Wind Ensemble proudly opens its 2025–2026 concert season with “Duty, Honor, Country,” a powerful evening dedicated to the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who defend our freedom. The concert will take place on Tuesday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the McAllen Performing Arts Center.
