Colliers Picturs 600pxThe Colliers are a vibrant, Americana group, that blends acoustic and electric instrumentation. They mix a host of genres like rock, pop, country, Celtic (Irish/Scottish), and folk, in a rootsy, down-home way. By doing this they form their own unique sound. They also put their own twist on a huge variety of covers of all genres from past to present, including pop-rock, country, R&B, swing, and even some Hawaiian pedal steel. They are refreshingly different from other Wintertainers™.

The Colliers are Steve and Jenni, and their daughter Eliya.

Steve is an innovative acoustic and electric guitar, pedal steel guitar, and upright and electric bass player. He has played with several major artists like Ronnie Dunn from Brooks and Dunn, and Mel McDaniel (Where he got to play at the Grand Ol’ Opry) and has toured extensively.

Jenni is a national champion fiddler. She also plays the foot drums and puts passion into everything she plays and writes. She also played and toured with several major artists and worked for Dolly Parton at the Stampede and Baldknobbers in Branson, MO.

The two met in a traveling band from Albuquerque, that traveled the Midwest. Jenni later moved from New Mexico to Steve’s hometown in Oklahoma. There, they played in many bands around Oklahoma during the inception of the Red Dirt Music movement. Also while there, Jenni recorded in a local studio for Garth Brooks. Their band did warm-ups for major acts and won statewide and national music competitions.

The two eventually made their way to Branson, where they played for different artists and shows. Steve still plays seasonally at Silver Dollar City and Shepherd of the Hills.

Now they have their own band with their daughter Eliya. Eliya has been called an “old soul.” She plays electric bass, ukulele and has an uncanny knack for singing, vocal improvisation and song writing. She has been honored for her silky, smooth singing and has experienced many cultures, through her traveling with parents.

The Colliers are in town and ready to play at your event. Their music is captivating, fun, and defies genres. When not performing at the historic Basin Park Hotel in Arkansas, they spend their time in South Texas entertaining the Winter Texans of the Valley.
