RonMoshier webRon Moshier has been quite a hit in the Rio Grande Valley. When we asked the activity directors for nominees on the VSA Ballot, Ron Moshier’s name came to many as we asked for feedback. To the delight of Winter Texans throughout the Valley, he will be performing at the 2023 Valley Star Awards on Wednesday, February 15.

He performs dances and shows throughout the RGV. He performs 60’s to current country, classic country, classic rock and he also does polka and waltzes.

He has had a passion for music since he was eight years old. He began his music career with accordion lessons and started his first band at the age of 13. His desire to perform for audiences quickly grew along with his repertoire and song catalog. He also plays the keyboard and, of course, sings, bringing a full band sound in a one-man band.

He began touring at the age of 25, opening for amazing artists like Tammy Wynette, Chubby Checker, Eddie Rabbit, Pam Tillis, Gene Watson, and many other talented entertainers.

Moshier grew up in Big Lake, Minnesota surrounded by a loving family and friends that encouraged him in his music career. He has since made Texas his home for more than 30 years.

Moshier says his love and passion continues to this day to make audiences of all ages get up and dance like nobody’s watching.

“Making people happy, makes me happy,” said Moshier.

And that’s what you’ll see at every performance.
