Get ready to celebrate one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the year – Fiesta de Palmas is back at the McAllen Convention Center from October 18 to 20. Whether you’re a local or visiting from afar, we invite you to join in for three days of unforgettable fun, food, music, and cultural festivities.
Come out for an incredible weekend as the picturesque grounds of the McAllen Convention Center come alive with excitement and entertainment. This year, Fiesta de Palmas promises to be bigger and better, packed with local flair, engaging activities, and memorable moments for the whole family.
Kick off festivities with a special beer-tasting event. Enjoy brews from around the globe while supporting a great cause – proceeds will benefit the Hope Family Health Center. Attendees will be able to sample food tastings from top McAllen restaurants. This event requires a separate ticket and grants entrance into Fiesta de Palmas available on ticketmaster or fiestadepalmas.com.
Thanks to HEB’s generosity, the pumpkin patch is expanding. Make sure to visit for fun photo opportunities and pumpkin painting and pick out the perfect pumpkin to take home.
This year’s musical lineup features an exciting blend of local talent, including Beatriz Gonzalez, Gatos Locos, Principe Q, Gabriella, Alta Ralea, Arroba Nat, Estereomance, Muzik, and ClaraYolks. Get ready to sing and dance the night away with these incredible performances.
Experience the breathtaking ritual ceremony of the Voladores de Papantla, a UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage event, as they soar over the main stage in a display of grace and tradition.
Engage in interactive educational experiences with organizations like the McAllen Public Library, IMAS, Quinta Mazatlan, UTRGV, South Texas College, and many more, designed to entertain and inspire attendees of all ages.
The carnival returns, and this year, they’re offering a fantastic deal – all-you-can-ride passes at a value price on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. Don’t miss out on the thrilling rides and delicious carnival treats.

The hours are Friday, October 18, 5 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, October 19, 12 to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, October 20, 12 to 10 p.m.
