Festival of Tables brings Red Hatters together for fun

The banquet hall at Victoria Palms was full of color last week during this year’s Festival of Tables event. Of course, the most prominent of colors were the festive red hats and beautiful purple attire that most of the ladies were wearing. There was only one exception – Me! I had on my pink hat and lavender shirt. Seeing as I have a year left before I reach 50, I am wearing pink as much as I can.

South Texas College Theatre and Dance announces its spring production, “The Little Prince,” adapted by Rick Cummins and John Scoular from Antoine De Saint-Exupéry’s novel.
The fourth annual South Texas Irish Fest (STXIF) will be held Saturday, February 24, from 12 to 7 p.m. It will be held at the Cambria Hotel (701 S. Ware Rd.) at McAllen Convention Center, with gorgeous facilities, an on-site restaurant and bar, a discounted room rate for visitors, and plentiful parking close to all the amenities. There will be a vendor market, featured dishes and drinks, whiskey tasting, all-day entertainment, pop-up exhibits, and family activities.
