Larry and Susan DeBuse, formerly of Green Gate Grove in Palm View, were honored at the Larry DeBuse Invitational Golf Tournament, held at Shary Golf Course on March 2.
Kathy Roberts and her team organized the event to raise funds for the Parkinson’s Foundation, Inc. and continues Larry’s annual golf outing, The Annual Not Ready for the PGA Golf Fun Day Invitational, which he ran for the last 6 seasons.

March 12th is National Plant a Flower Day and now is the best time to start planting, growing and enjoying flowers at your home. Join us at our Mazatlan Morning on Saturday, March 12th from 9 a.m. to noon for the Native Plant Sale, Talk, Walk and Seed Bombing.
John Brush, McAllen Urban Ecologist, will present a program at 10 a.m. titled “Quinta in Bloom” highlighting the beautiful native flowers around the sanctuary.

Come enjoy the live outdoor concert with the Mariachi Margaritas at Quinta Mazatlán. Get a feel of South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley with the cultural sounds of mariachi music. The second concert of the Music in the Park 2022 series will feature traditional songs from the all-female mariachi group from Brownsville, the Mariachi Margaritas, on Thursday March 10th from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Red Hat ladies from all over the Rio Grande Valley gathered for the first time in two years at Alamo Country Club on February 25 to view the elegant tables set by chapters from all over the Valley and to meet and greet old friends. A total of 25 tables with different themes were set for the ladies to enjoy. For an hour before lunch was served ladies browsed the tables to see which ones were their favorites.
