20250307 Winter Texan Fiesta WAB 0024 webThe Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce invites Winter Texans to celebrate community, culture, and live entertainment at the 2026 Winter Texan Fiesta on Friday, March 6, at Leo Peña Placita Park in downtown Mission. The annual free event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with doors opening at 10:30 a.m.

Winter Texans are an essential part of our community’s story, and the Winter Texan Fiesta is Mission’s way of celebrating their presence, their contributions, and the friendships they bring to Mission every year.

This year’s celebration features a full afternoon of live music, cultural performances, a vibrant vendor market, and the official Discover Mission T-shirt reveal for just $5. As a special welcome, free food will be provided to the first 1,000 attendees, creating an incentive for guests to arrive early and enjoy the festivities.

Attendees can look forward to performances by Sharyland High School Mariachi Nuevo Cascabel, Sharyland High School Grupo Folklórico Cascabel, Bruce Boudreau and The Night Howlers.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the entertainment comfortably throughout the day.

The event is proudly sponsored by Mission Regional Medical Center, the City of Mission, and the Winter Texan Times, among other community partners.
