John Haga, tour coordinator at Four Seasons RV Park in Brownsville, recently went with 45 other residents on a tour to Space X. The group loaded into a 50-passenger old painted school bus with an ‘excellent guide,’ Anthony Gomez, from Rocket Ranch.
The tour, starting at 8 a.m., lasted about three hours. The group got the chance to see the launch pad, the rocket building area, and use the Rocket Ranch viewing platform that is located right on the Rio Grande. The group was also shown a video of the past launches.
Haga said he highly recommends Rocket Ranch to any other Winter Texan groups looking for the opportunity for a “real out of this world experience” tour of the Space X grounds.
