National Rural Letter Carriers

The National Rural Letter Carriers will be meeting at Victoria Palms Resort Restaurant, located at 602 N. Victoria Rd., Donna, TX, on Wednesday, January 18. The meeting will start at 8:30 a.m., meal at 9 a.m., we will order off of the menu. There will be a speaker from Aetna Insurance afterwards. 3M Retirees and Friends Welcome

Annual Fayette County, IA Reunion

Fayette County, Iowa residents will meet Thursday, January 19 at Mr. Gatti’s, 4100 N. 2nd St., McAllen, at 11 a.m.

Clara City Minnesota

Clara City Minnesota Community Breakfast will be held on Friday, January 27, 9 a.m. at Martha’s Restaurant, 502 Val Verde Rd., in Donna. Anyone from that area of Minnesota is welcome. Questions, call Lorna Glesne at (320) 905-7331.

Masonic Winter Texan Reunion

The 42nd Annual MN/TX Masonic Reunion will be held on Saturday, January 28, at the Rio Grande Valley Shrine Club, 13415 E Expressway 83 in La Feria. The social hour will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $15. Grand Master of Minnesota, M.W. Kanabec County, MN Residents

All Kanabec County, Minnesota residents are welcome to meet at Gatti’s Pizza on January 31 at 11 a.m., 4100 N. 2nd St. in McAllen.

Ringgold County and Surrounding Areas

The Ringgold County and surrounding area, including Diagonal, Iowa reunion will be held Friday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at Martha’s Restaurant on Val Verde Rd. in Donna. Senior Slow Pitch Softball

The Ed Martens Senior Softball League meets on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. The games are in the mornings at 9 a.m. at West Side Park in McAllen on Ware Rd. Model Rail Roading & Railroaders

Model Rail Roading & Railroaders have started getting together. Anyone interested in joining the group can join them Monday through Friday at the Hidalgo Pumphouse. Call Red at (313) 532-8549 for more information.

RGV Woodcarvers

The Rio Grande Valley Woodcarvers have begun their seasonal meetings. The woodcarvers are meeting at the Nomad Shrine Club, 1044 W. Nolana Blvd., in Pharr. The Carvers meet weekly on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. through March. Everyone is welcome to come and visit and join the club. After a third visit, you will be asked to become a member with annual dues. More information can be found online at www.rgvwoodcarvers.org. Senior Ambassadors

The Senior Ambassadors is looking for singers to join their chorus. Senior Ambassadors is composed of men from the Valley and Winter Texan community. They perform choral music from sacred and semi classical, to pop and country. Practice sessions are held each Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Bentsen Grove Resort (1645 S. Bentsen Rd.) in Mission.
