The Port Isabel is bringing back a tradition that was started in 2004 – Movies at the Lighthouse. Movies will be projected on the side of the historical Port Isabel Lighthouse. No admission fee, Concessions will be available. The lighthouse will be open until 9 p.m. for tours (tours do have an admission). Movies start at 9 p.m.

South Texas College kicks off its 14th Annual South Texas Ceramic Showdown, "The Future is Fluid. Is Function Fixed?” with a reception as well as two days of demonstrations, art talks and a month-long exhibit for the community.
The exhibit will be on view from June 6 to July 1, at the college's STC Pecan Campus Art Gallery. The gallery and ceramic studio are located at 3201 West Pecan Blvd., Building B in McAllen.

McAllen will once again host the 2022 Texas Regional Bank McAllen Amateur Golf Championship at the Champion Lakes Golf Course, Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26, at the famed municipal golf course (formerly Palm View Golf Course), located at 2701 South Ware Road. This year’s defending champion is Luke Antonelli, from San Antonio, Texas.

The City of Edinburg will host “Printed Pueblos & Personas De Pura Cultura” a group art exhibit featuring the work of seven Rio Grande Valley natives: Cecilia Sierra, Clarissa Martinez, Corinne Whittemore, Jessie Burciaga, Jesus De La Rosa, Michael Flanagan and Michel Flores Tavizon. The exhibit is on display through May 25th, at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library. The library, through its Cultural Arts Division, hosts a variety of free exhibits and public programs throughout the year that showcases local artists.
