Four groups of musicians will present a concert for the Valley on Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m. at The Center Church, located at 4801 N. Cage Boulevard in Pharr. The Sweet Adelines, Men of A-Chord, Senior Ambassadors, and the RGV Concert Band offer this combined concert.

All four groups perform throughout the Valley from December through March. They are comprised of both local residents and Winter Texans. Performers include band and music teachers and students, plus both converted, and seasonal Winter Texans from across the United States and Canada.

Since 2005 these four groups have gathered biennially to perform favorites from well-known tunes. This year’s program includes rock and roll, marches, patriotic and classical numbers, and “oldies but goodies.” The concert promises to rekindle the memories of the music that has delighted music lovers throughout the years.

Tickets are $8 each and are on sale now from members of each group. Unsold tickets will be available at the door the night of the concert for $10, but seating is limited.
