Alamo Rose RV Resort will hold their annual quilt show on Wednesday, January 14 from noon to 3 p.m. Quilters from the park will raffle off their opportunity quilt, titled “Ice Castles.”
The Alamo Quilt-A-Bees show will feature Foster Quilts to be given to a foster child. The quilts are given to foster children when they reach the age that they are on their own, whether it be college or aging out of the system. The foster child receives a quilt and a pillowcase made by the group.
Admission to the show is $2 and raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. There will be vendors and scissors sharpening available. There will also be a Secondhand Rose Table. Door prizes and lots of beautiful quilts to see will be featured at the show.
