St. Patrick's Day was celebrated a day earlier on Saturday with the annual parade at Royal Palms MH Park in Alamo. Leading the parade were the king and queen, Tim Fischer and Carrol Moering.
Winners in the St. Patrick's Day decorating parade contest were for the best golf cart which was for the "medic," that included, in white, from left, Alan Mahn, Kathy Swanson, and Carolyn Schneider; best bicycle, Mary Williams; and best animal entry, owner Christina Roper. With them was the day's king, Tim Fischer, on the left and queen Carrol Moering, on right.
